What is Memora?
Memora is a personal photo organization application for Windows. It automatically detects and groups faces appearing in your own photo collection, so you can organize and find photos by the people in them.
Is Memora free?
Yes. Memora Free includes every feature, with a library of up to 200 photos - no time limit, no credit card, and no sign-up required.
How much does Memora Personal cost?
$49 USD, one-time purchase. Online purchasing isn't available yet - Panther Soft's Paddle payment provider application is still pending approval. See the Pricing page for the current status.
Is the $49 price a one-time purchase?
Yes. Memora Personal is a one-time purchase for a perpetual license - pay once, keep it, with no recurring subscription.
Can I use Memora Personal on more than one computer?
Yes. Use on up to 2 personal Windows devices by default.
What updates are included with Memora Personal?
Memora Personal includes free updates and bug fixes for your version. A future major version may be offered as a free update, a discounted upgrade, or a separate paid edition, at Panther Soft's discretion - any change affecting your existing license will be clearly communicated in advance.
Which operating systems are supported?
Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). macOS and Linux are not currently supported.
Does Memora upload my photos?
No. Memora never uploads your photos, thumbnails, or face data to any cloud service or third-party service. All photo and face processing happens locally on your PC.
How does face grouping work?
Memora detects faces in your photos and groups similar-looking faces together automatically. You then give each group a name, and Memora applies it across every matching photo - entirely on your device.
Is my face data stored online?
No. Face data (used to group similar-looking faces) is stored only in a local database on your own PC. It is never uploaded or stored on any Panther Soft server.
Can I delete my photo/face data?
Yes. Because your photos and face data never leave your device, deleting them is entirely within your control - uninstalling Memora, or deleting its local data folder, removes them. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I rename people?
Yes. You can rename or correct a person's name at any time from the People section.
Can I exclude photos?
Yes. You can exclude specific photos from Memora's review and organization workflows without deleting the original file.
Do I need an internet connection?
Not for scanning, organizing, or browsing your photos - that all runs offline on your PC. Memora only contacts a server when you activate a Memora Personal license, start the optional 14-day trial, or manually check your license status from Settings - there's no automatic background check.
How does licensing work?
Memora Free requires no license. Memora Personal is activated with a license key entered inside the app; activation requires a brief internet connection, and Memora then works entirely offline using a securely cached license until you next activate, start a trial, or manually check your status.
